The 2014 vintage is made from a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Merlot; the grapes were harvested and aged in oak for 12 months prior to release. The nose has flavours of crème de cassis, loamy soil, cigar, graphite, dark chocolate and the classic Margaux note of rose petals. The palate is medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated; the finish is fine and long. It's drinking beautifully now, but will continue to develop over the next 15-20 years.
